My name is Jim Hester and I’ve been in the entertainment and events management business for more than 12 years. During that time I’ve met thousands of people from all walks of life taking part in every conceivable kind of event and I’ve learned a lot about the right way to do these things.

I have serenaded new brides and saluted their new husbands; I have served as entertainment DJ and emcee; I have improvised as waiter and bartender; I’ve calmed nervous mothers, reassured their equally edgy husbands, and served as a shoulder for those who needed one. I have hosted small business cocktail hours and helped Fortune 500 companies run conferences.

Through it all I learned the one rule required to put on a memorable event: To take them personally. Every time. If your daughter is getting married, it’s probably the most important day of her (and your) life. As the father of two beautiful girls of my own, I know what you want for that special day, and my job is to deliver that.
